The parent company, Aquila & Co. Ltd., has as one of the few asset managers the status of a securities dealer and acts under the supervision of the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). For the Aquila & Co. Ltd. apply the Federal Law on Banks and Savings Banks and the Stock Exchange Act as well as the directives and bank regulations that banks are legally obliged to conform with of the Swiss Bankers Association.
As a fully regulated asset manager, Aquila & Co. Ltd. may manage investment funds and collective capital investments allover Europe.
Aquila & Co. Ltd. is being monitored - including the connected partner asset management companies - on a consolidated basis with the duties in accordance with the provisions of the Money Laundering Act (SFBC) and the Agreement on the Swiss banks' code of conduct with regard to the exercise of due diligence (CDB 08). PricewaterhouseCoopers is the auditor of the Aquila Group.
